Just an update! Tony and I are making plans to gather our songs together for the release of a new Americana album AND for about half of a  jazzy bluesy album (the second half to be finished here in LA with Mark Cargill and Greg Cook). So YES , we have discovered that we have more than enough material to make it a go for TWO, I say 2 albums this coming season!!!I'm already brainstorming cover art! For those of you who are new to our team at TONErecords, Tony Perrino , is our long time friend, collaborator, producer, and magical musician. He is very grateful to those who are putting the benefit together, but he doesn't want the spotlight. Primarily, he wants to acknowledge doctors who are helping him. He pays them tribute in his own words:

"I think it is wonderful thing what the Dr.'s at the Saratoga Pain Management Center (Dr. Gordon Kuhar) have done for me.... I think they should be recognized, and that this system, the " Precision" Spinal Cord Stimulator, produced by Boston Scientific, is without doubt one of the most highly developed IPG systems available. The system is basically a pulse generator, providing electrical stimulation directly to the spinal cord, and nerve pathways. This system consists of a "wire lead" with 16 (8 per side symmetrically) in my case, implanted permanently and attached to the spinal cord, with connections running to a battery located just above the kidney area in my right lower back. This system is controlled by a wireless remote/programming unit that is capable of setting the selections of programs for pain blocking, healing stimulation, or chronic pain therapy type cycling therapy....In a situation like my followed by Years and Years of extremely serious back and spinal injuries,( from the Mighty Hammond B3 organ) and the surgeries that accompany, age along with degenerative bone problems, arthritis, and scoliosis, left me in pretty much an "inoperable" state any more, and with no hope of help from physical therapy or other modalities.... This was my only sensible choice opposed to a life of pain meds.

A BIG PS - some of the Christmas Eyes CDs will be available on November 14th at the benefit concert for Tony Perrino.

 I was in the studio last night recording the lead and  harmony vocals for our final song to be finished for the new Christmas CD " Christmas  Eyes".  I was working with Greg Cook and Mark Cargill owners of CCI Media.  We have a mastering session and then off the master goes to be duplicated just for you!  I'll be opening a website dedicated to this album by the end of this month. Cool.
